Stopped in on the way to St Augustine and this place is great! The Deep South burger was delicious and cooked perfectly and the fries were perfect will come back if I’m ever back in town !!
Historic building that has been converted into a restaurant. Ambiance was awesome with exposed bricks and industrial look. Excellent service with a friendly staff. There was either inside or outside seating.
Went here for lunch while checking out the Batram Festival on the Palatka riverfront. The burger was awesome, the fries were great! My friend has chicken bites. We ate inside, loved the decor.
Delicous the oysters were beyond amazing as well as my Cracker Swamp Burger. Our server Mariah did everything in her power to make us comftorbale. I know I talk alot about great service but this one was beyong great
I never knew what a scratch kitchen was until I came to this fabulous restaurant. The food is ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING. I wish I was a local because I would be eating there every day. We got the chicken basket with hand cut fries. Delicious coleslaw. Fried green tomatoes with so good pimento dip. The sauce is called Comeback and i definitely will be back. Our server Taylor is Awesome too!!
Delicious and fresh meal. Personally had the Pimento spread as an appetizer, and the French Dip with fries for Dinner. Excellent food! Very pleasant and friendly waitress. Inside and outside dining available. Maybe a pricey meal to some, but the quality was worth it.
Great spot! Very welcoming. The service was excellent and so was the food. The fried green tomatoes are a must try. The fish sandwich was the best I’ve ever had between Key West and New England. Everything is extremely fresh and made to order. They were so kind to my 80lb dog too! If you’re visiting Palatka this is a sure fire go to spot.
Out west today for work, we made our way into the coolest place in Palatka called Velchoff's Corner They have indoor seating but also a really cool outdoor space! They cook out of the food truck and pump out some seriously good stuff! We shared a burger topped with pimento cheese and a fried green tomato, cooked perfectly with these amazingly seasoned scratch made fries And this chicken sandwich with slaw, come back sauce and pickles, with a side of the most amazing, creamy cheesy grits! The food was OUTSTANDING, very well made with quality ingredients, the service was excellent and the environment was cool! Definitely don’t overlook this place if you are out there! We can’t wait to return!
